In the last few years, I learnt many valuable lessons about how sticking to our own idealism often doesn't go along well with achieving our goals.
One of them is about how I imagine this blog would be. I wanted to bring a comprehensive and thorough perspective on the things that I learnt, that I think can be beneficial for other people. In that sense, I also feel like there is a responsibility to make sure that all the information is correct and well-written and future-proof, in a sense that it's not something that's only because of a trend.
Having those ideals had stopped me from being able to publish my writings regularly. I ended up with more than eight unfinished drafts. Making this to be "future-proof" is apparently also something not ideal, since like it's always said, the only constant thing in this world is change. After I missed my "deadline" from writing, I looked for a more realistic and effective way to share what I know, and also how people actually prefer to see it. My goal since the very first beginning was to be able to share this to as many people as possible, and to give the easiest and most inclusive way to distribute it. Apparently from my (not so) quick survey, people still prefer to see it in social media, although it still has many downsides like difficult to find a particular content, drowned with other posts, and people use different social medias. So I've been exploring some new ways to share my knowledge to reach people easier and faster.
In the context of sharing my knowledge, I will still share my thoughts here as a personal archive that I can personally maintain, and also a "transcript" of my contents, so I can still share it on other platforms later in the future, although what social media I use now is already no longer relevant. This is only one little from so many examples on how we should focus on our goal, and constantly find the best way to do it, instead of sticking to how we want to do it.
